POLICE BRIEFS: Woman dies in motorcycle wreck (The Glasgow Daily Times)

A motorcycle collision claimed the life of a Barren County woman Saturday around 4:15 p.m. on Austin Tracy Road. Teresa A. Moore, 40, was a passenger on a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle that left the roadway and struck a utility pole, according to a Barren County Sheriff’s report.

Harley-Davidson CEO Jim Ziemer to retire in 2009 (INO News)

(AP:MILWAUKEE) Harley-Davidson says president and chief executive Jim Ziemer plans to retire next year. The company says in a news release Ziemer told the board of directors that he intends to retire in 2009, ending his 40-year career with the Milwaukee motorcycle maker.
